Thy have long been seen as 'lucky' and are often strung up outside houses in a protective fashion or worn in a talismanic way as a necklace. They also are said to be a 'key' to see into other worlds, and some say they have protective and healing powers.
I collected this small, found HAGSTONE whilst mudlarking on the foreshore of ancient River Thames. When cast in metal it have a truly sculptural feel and is incredibly tactile to hold. It hs a natural almost perfect hexagon shape. It makes a beautiful talisman, strung on a leather cord as shown or on your own chain.
The size of this small hexagonal is 1.5cm wide x 1.4cm high. Central hole inner diameter is 0.4cm.
You can compare the sizes of the 2 different HAGSTONE's in the below pictures.
This listing is for the SMALLER of the 2 sizes.
They come in bronze or Eco silver as pendants only, or with a long leather thong.
