Welcome in the Seasons!

The Spring Equinox, which is also called Ostara in the Pagan Wheel of the Year, is the official start of Spring. Day and night are of equal length, and from now days get longer and lighter.

Ostara is named after the Anglo-Saxon German goddess Eostre, who represents new beginnings and the Spring. It can be seen as a time of fertility, rebirth and renewal.

The Primrose is one of the first flower that emerges in Spring, and the Latin equivalent ‘Prima Rosa’ translates as ‘the first rose’. It can be seen as a symbol of Spring also, representing new beginnings, hope and transformation.

This is the first of a limited collection of 4 pendants, each celebrating a season or ‘sabbat’ in the calendar. Each will be available on the date of the festival for a month, as a made to order style. After that the listing will close until next year.

Ostara | Spring Equinox | 20th March

Litha | Summer Solstice | 21st June

Mabon | Autumn Equinox | 22nd September

Yule | Winter Solstice | 21st December

Each OSTARA EQUINOX pendant has been hand made and finished by me from a wax original. The same mould is used to create each piece but due to the hand made nature of the design each will be slightly different and therefore unique to you.

These pendants each have a hand made bail attached to the piece, ready to hand from your favourite chain. The outer diameter of the jump ring measures 6mm, inner diameter is approx 4mm.

Each pendant measures approx 2cm high x 1.5cm wide, with a total length of 2.6cm inc attached jump ring.

Pendant is pictured on an 18” chain.

Listings are for 9ct gold, sterling silver and bronze.

All pendants are made to order, so please expect an approx 4-6 week wait from order to delivery.
