WELKIN Star Pendant
Welkin, or 'the vault of the sky' is a word that is used to mean the sky, or clouds in Old English.
The WELKIN star pendant features a simplified 8 pointed star design, inspired by the night skies visible and mapped by the ancients at West Kennet. Eight pointed stars have meaning in many different cultures, for example they can be seen to represent the eight seasons in the Pagan Wheel of the Year.
Each star is impressed from an original mould, so although the design will be the same as the photographs here, each one is made individually so there may be a slight variation in the earrings sent to you.
Each star measures approx 0.9cm x 0.9cm. The ring band measures 0.1cm. I suggest taking your normal ring size for this style due to the size of the band.
The full necklace comes with a corresponding 18” cable chain.
